Niyukti ("We", "Our", "App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable App Store Guidelines.

By using Niyukti, you consent to the data practices described below.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required to operate the App securely and provide educational services.

2.1 Personal Information

• Contact Details: Mobile Number & Email Address (used only for login, OTP verification, and important updates).
• Profile Data: Name and Profile Picture (optional).
• Examination Data: Exam category preferences.
• Purpose: Used strictly to generate accurate merit lists and rank predictions. We do not use this data for any discriminatory purpose.

2.2 Device & Technical Information (Security Only)

• To enforce our “Single Active Session” policy, we detect technical device identifiers.
• Purpose: Prevent account sharing, piracy, and fraud.
• We do not track your location or personal activity.

2.3 Financial Information (Transaction Only)

• Niyukti does NOT store or collect any debit card, credit card, or payment gateway details.
• For the purpose of Student Welfare support or referral reward transfers, users may voluntarily provide basic payout information such as UPI ID or Bank Account details when required.
• This information is used strictly by the Niyukti Admin Team to process manual support transfers to eligible students.
• Niyukti does not use this information for automatic debits, recurring payments, advertising, or marketing purposes.

2.4 Data Minimization & Trust Disclaimer

• Niyukti follows the principle of data minimization. We collect only the information necessary to provide educational services, rank analysis, app functionality, and security.
• We do not access or monitor users’ private messages, personal files, contacts, or photo galleries.
• Users always remain in control of their data and may delete their account at any time through the App Settings if they no longer wish to use the service.

3. App Permissions

• The Niyukti App may request certain device permissions only when necessary to provide specific features:
• Storage: Used to load or save course images, notes, and study materials inside the App.
• Notifications: Used to send important updates such as exam alerts, announcements, and course-related information.
• Camera / Media (Optional): Used only if the user chooses to upload a profile photo.
• These permissions are requested strictly for functionality and are not used to access personal data beyond what is required for the feature.

4. How We Use Your Data

• We use user information only to operate the Niyukti App and provide educational services such as courses, tests, performance analysis, and platform security.
• User data may also be used to manage features like rankings, exam preparation tools, and the Student Welfare / Referral program.
• Niyukti does not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information to third parties
• All data is protected using appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

5. Data Sharing & Security

5.1 No Selling

Niyukti does not sell, rent, or trade users’ personal information to advertisers or third parties.

5.2 Service Providers

User data may be shared only with trusted service providers such as OTP verification services, payment processors, or secure cloud infrastructure partners, strictly for operating and maintaining the App.

5.3 Legal Compliance

Information may be disclosed only when required by law, legal process, or to investigate serious fraud, security threats, or piracy affecting the platform.

6. Children’s Privacy

Niyukti is intended for exam aspirants and students preparing for competitive examinations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Users under 18 should use the App under parental or guardian supervision.

7. Data Deletion (User Rights)

• Users may request account deletion by contacting the Niyukti Team via email.
• Upon verification of the request, the user's profile data, course progress, and wallet balance will be permanently removed from our active systems.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the App after changes implies acceptance of the updated policy.
